In 1958 a partnership was formed between George J. Smith Sr. and Stanley Stankos, the result was S&S Cycle Equipment. In 1959 Mr. Stankos sold out to George & Marjorie Smith and as they say, the rest is history. 50 years later the company founded by George Sr. is still building top of the line performance parts and V-Twin motors that set the standard for after market quality and performance. His first Land Speed Record set in 1954 at the Bonneville Salt Flats was just the beginning of a legacy established and repeated by S&S Cycle throughout the years. As an inductee in the “Motorcycle Hall of Fame” George Sr. epitomizes the true meaning of the Tribute to Excellence Award. Join us for this celebration of accomplishment as we recognize George J. Smith Sr. for his exceptional contributions to motorcycle engineering and performance.

His vision was clear and simple - “I want to make all bikes go faster"

The ABW tradition continues! Join 1000’s, Friday April 3rd, in the HandleBar Saloon at WestWorld of Scottsdale as we salute one of the true industry titans…
